Eucharistic Ministers prayerfully serve the people of St. Jude's by distributing the Body and Blood of Christ during Eucharistic celebrations. As an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, commonly referred to as a Eucharistic minister or EM, lay people can serve the Catholic Church by distributing Holy Communion during Mass. The next Food and Recycling Drive is November 16 from 9am-10am in the church parking lot. For the Thanksgiving holiday, St. Vincent De Paul has requested pancake mix / syrup and boxed mashed potatoes.

The St. Jude Bereavement Ministry is an outreach ministry to support members of the parish who are mourning the death of a loved one. The ministry helps plan ceremonies and offers support in family homes and at funeral Masses. Jesus emphasized comforting those who mourn, as seen in the Beatitudes:
