The new Stewards of the Stations Ministry is forming to help care for our Stations of the Cross Garden, labyrinth, and surrounding prayer spaces. Volunteers will assist with simple weekly upkeep including watering, trimming, and seasonal care while helping maintain these peaceful areas for prayer and reflection. Click to continue reading
We are seeking ushers to serve the parish community by welcoming parishioners at Mass and supporting a smooth and hospitable worship experience. Duties include greeting attendees, assisting those with special needs, helping with flow during Mass, and collecting the offertory. The role requires about one hour per Mass (including arriving early and staying briefly after) and completion of Virtus training.

On Friday, May 8, our parish family gathered in joyful celebration as Fr. Jim blessed the new Stations of the Cross Garden, Parish Hall, and the plaque honoring Msgr. Bill Leser. Thanks to the generosity of our community, these beautiful projects became a reality. The evening was filled with gratitude, fellowship, great food, and live music as we celebrated God’s blessings together.
The parish community generously raised $5,189 for the St. Jude Robotics Team, exceeding the $3,000 goal. This support fully covers their expenses and helps the students represent St. Jude on the world stage. Click to continue reading
The Merry Martha Ministry is a dedicated group of parishioners who lovingly care for our church each week. From dusting and vacuuming to tending candles and pews, their quiet service helps keep our parish welcoming and beautiful.
They meet Mondays at 10:00 AM—and always welcome helping hands. Many hands make light work!

Thanks to your generosity, St. Jude’s Bike4Kids Ministry recently delivered a trailer full of donated bicycles to MICOP in Oxnard, helping children, teens, and adults with transportation and opportunity. The ministry has now provided more than 200 refurbished bikes to those in need throughout the Conejo Valley. During Lent, our parish embraced the “40 Days and 40 Pieces” collection, inviting parishioners to give to others through daily clothing donations. Thanks to this generous response, 890 bags of clothing were collected to support local charities and outreach organizations. We are deeply grateful to our parish family for their compassion and generosity toward those in need in our community.
Thanks to 17 volunteers, the ministry served 28 cars, collected 120 bags of food, received $850 in food donations, and processed 22 bags of recycling for $640.35 in redemption funds. Recycling bins remain available around the buildings anytime. Thank you for making a positive impact in our community!
