Looking for casual fun and meaningful connection? Join Encore, a new parish group for those in the “encore” phase of life, focused on friendship and shared experiences. Join us on Shrove Tuesday to burn the blessed palms from last year’s Palm Sunday (please remove all staples). We will pray together and enjoy fellowship with desserts as we prepare our hearts for the Ash Wednesday fast. All are invited to bring palms and a favorite dessert to share.

Eucharistic Ministers prayerfully serve the people of St. Jude's by distributing the Body and Blood of Christ during Eucharistic celebrations. As an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, commonly referred to as a Eucharistic minister or EM, lay people can serve the Catholic Church by distributing Holy Communion during Mass. The St. Jude Bereavement Ministry is an outreach ministry to support members of the parish who are mourning the death of a loved one. The ministry helps plan ceremonies and offers support in family homes and at funeral Masses. Jesus emphasized comforting those who mourn, as seen in the Beatitudes:

Parishioner John 'Jack' Moran honored at the 2024 National Memorial Day Concert. The proud son of two World War II soldiers, Bryan Cranston tells the remarkable tale of Greatest Generation US Army soldier John 'Jack' Moran, who courageously fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
On May 7, approximately 5,000 people congregated at St. Jude Parish for the veneration of the relic of St. Jude the Apostle.
