Collecting new and gently used handbags to be filled with personal care items and donated to homeless women, offering a boost of confidence and showing that someone cares. Proverbs 3:15: "Her value exceeds pearls; all you desire can’t compare with her."

Handbags will be collected October 18–26 in the vestibule and in carts outside all church doors on both weekends. They may also be dropped off at the Drive-Thru Collection on Saturday, October 18. Agencies served include Homeless Services, Harbor House, One-Stop Center, Oxnard Rescue Mission, and Catholic Charities.
