With Heartfelt Gratitude to Fr. Jim
For the past 15 years, we have been blessed by Fr. Jim's faithful service and dedication to our parish family. Guided by the Holy Spirit and following the example of Christ, the Good Shepherd, Fr. Jim has served our parish with a zealous love for ministry and a devoted heart. He has been a steady source of comfort and encouragement - whether visiting parishioners in the hospital, walking with families in times of need, or celebrating the liturgical life of our parish.
As Fr. Jim enters this new chapter of retirement, we give thanks for the gentle dedication and welcoming spirit he has shared with our parish family. His openness to people of all ages and abilities, along with his well-loved "sheep" jokes, has brought countless smiles and moments of joy to our St. Jude Family. We thank God for the gift of Fr. Jim's ministry and for the blessing of his continued presence and friendship within our parish community.

Welcome Fr. Jude Umeobi
The Saint Jude Parish Family welcomes Fr. Jude Umeobi as our new Administrator beginning July 1st following the retirement of Fr. Jim Stehly. Born and raised in Nigeria, Fr. Jude was ordained to the priesthood in 1997 and has served the Archdiocese of Los Angeles since 2003 in several parishes, most recently at St. Eugene Parish in Los Angeles. We are grateful for his years of faithful ministry and look forward to the faith, wisdom, and pastoral care he will bring to our parish community. Please join us in warmly welcoming Fr. Jude and keeping him in your prayers as he begins this new chapter of ministry with us.

Confession Times
- Saturday 3:00 PM Continues after the 4pm Mass
Every Saturday Confessions at 3pm, Vigil Mass at 4pm, Confessions will continue after the 4pm Mass until the last penitent in line. In the confessional inside the church or by appointment call 818-889-1279.

Adoration Times
- Wednesday 12:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Right after the noon Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the altar for a special time of praise and prayer. Jesus will be present on the altar throughout the afternoon and early evening. -
First Fridays DevotionFIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH
10:15 AM - 12 PM
The First Fridays Devotionis a cherished Catholic tradition dating back to the 17th century, focused on honoring the Sacred Heart of Jesus.On the first Friday of each month, the faithful are invited to offer special prayers and acts of reparation to deepen their love for Jesus and atone for sins committed against His Sacred Heart.

Teen Volunteer Opportunity
Teens are invited to make a difference by helping collect food donations and recyclables on Saturday, July 18. Bring a friend and serve together!

Mental Health Summit
Join the Archdiocese of Los Angeles for the Mental Health Summit on Saturday, July 18, from 8:30 AM–5:00 PM at Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills. This day of reflection, learning, and practical formation will bring together leaders in healthcare ministry, pastoral care, and Catholic education to better understand mental health needs, provide compassionate support, and connect with trusted resources throughout the Archdiocese.

Back-to-School Collection
July 18–26
Help local children start the school year prepared and confident! Our parish is collecting new backpacks and school supplies for children from low-income and homeless families served by Catholic Charities, MICOP, and Lutheran Services. Volunteers are also needed to help collect, sort, and distribute donations.
