The Merry Martha Ministry is a dedicated group of parishioners who help care for our church through weekly cleaning and upkeep. From dusting and vacuuming to maintaining candles and pews, their service helps keep our church welcoming and beautiful. They meet Mondays at 10:00 AM. Many hands make light work!
Join us for gentle Chair Yoga with instructor Alex Westcourt on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. on September 1, 8, and 15 in St. Jude Parish Hall. Enjoy mindful movement, gentle stretching, and community in a welcoming environment. Open to everyone—no experience necessary! $15 per class at the door (cash/check) or $10 with advance registration. Help care for our Stations of the Cross Garden, labyrinth, and prayer spaces. Volunteers assist with simple upkeep to help keep these sacred areas beautiful and welcoming for prayer and reflection.
Wednesdays from 12:30 pm until 7:30 pm, right after the noon Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the altar for a special time of praise and prayer.
Join us each Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm for the St. Jude Novena, a special time of prayer and devotion as we turn to our beloved patron saint. Together, we seek the intercession of St. Jude, the patron of hopeless cases and lost causes, bringing our intentions before the Lord with faith and hope.
Every Saturday at 3pm, Vigil Mass at 4pm, Confessions will continue after the 4pm Mass until the last penitent in line. In the confessional inside the church or by appointment call 818-889-1279.
Children in Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to join our trained catechists after the Opening Prayer at the 10:00 a.m. Mass. In the Parish Hall, children explore the Sunday Scripture readings through storytelling, activities, music, and conversation. They return to the church after about 20 minutes. Click for details

Our Young Adult Ministry is a setting for adults ages 18-40 to explore their Catholic faith, find significance, and experience community with other young Catholics. Join us for Bible study and get to know new faces. Meets from 7pm-10:00pm in the Confirmation and Youth Room. Drinks for 21+, snacks provided.

Our Middle School Ministry serves students in grades 6–8, helping them grow in faith, build friendships, and connect with the parish community. Students attend Sunday Mass together and then gather in the hall for fellowship, faith-filled activities, and pizza.
Join us once a month to pack 250 bag lunches for those in poverty at Harbor House and senior residents at Many Mansions in Thousand Oaks. It's fun and a great way to give back to the community. We meet on a designated Monday each month at 9:30 am in the parish hall. Community Service Hours are available.

The annual Loaves & Fishes Coats & Jeans for the Cause Collection returns September 22–30, 2026. Donate gently used or new cold-weather clothing and rain gear to help provide comfort and protection for individuals experiencing homelessness during the colder months. Click for details
