The First Fridays Devotion is a Catholic tradition dating back to the 17th century, centered on honoring the Sacred Heart of Jesus. On the first Friday of each month, the faithful offer special prayers and acts of reparation to deepen their love for Jesus and atone for sins committed against His Sacred Heart.
Before Easter parishioners can choose a needy child or children by age and gender and provide an Easter Basket to be delivered by a service agency. It is a fun and wonderful way to brighten the Easter holiday for a young child. Baskets are given to Moorpark Catholic Charities, Ventura Catholic Charities, Harbor House in Thousand Oaks and Many Mansions. Click for more information
