Lord, you are of course "the light of the world."

But you are also the light that illumines my heart and my life. Is there some corner of my heart, some part of my life, that is most in need of you and the light that you are for me?

Again, Jesus, I'm left wondering how I would have moved through these days if I had been one your company. I'm shaking my head at the quiet heroism of the guards and Nicodemus. Please give me comparable courage to speak up for you when given the opportunity.
